Registration opens for BCJA 5K/Run Walk

Organizers are now accepting applications for the 4th annual 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Berean Christian Junior Academy. The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3 at BCJA, located at 401 Hamilton E. Holmes Dr., NW, Atlanta. 

A free health fair will include computerized health-age appraisals, BMI and body fat calculations, medication counseling, diabetes education, blood sugar monitoring, stress assessment, upper-body massages, and pediatric dental screens. Cholesterol testing will be offered for a $5 donation.
Free toddler and junior runs will be held for children ages 2 to 8.
5K Run/Walk registration fee is $15 through April 28; $20 after April 28; $10 for seniors and students ages 9-18; $45 for family of four through April 28; $55 family registration after April 28.
Participants who register before April 28 will receive a free T-shirt.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded. Games, crafts and food will be available.
