Auburn Church

The "Miracle" Church

How we started

The Little Rock Church: A paragraph cannot describe all of the miracles that have lead to the establishment of the Miracle Church, as many fondly refer to it. Barrow county was a dark county when a group ofAdventist felt called by God to plant a church there. The site they chose was a Methodist Church on County Line Road in Auburn, Ga. This Christian church rented to this small group of Adventist and helped them in many ways, little did either group know that one day the Adventist would own that church they were now renting.

The text Proverbs 3:5,6 has always been a favorite of each Auburn member; "Trust in the lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." And Auburn’s paths have been directed by God, from the money that has come in through miracles to even a baptistery fitting into the church with just inches to spare. Most importantly Auburn had been a church in Love with Jesus. This has been passed from the original founders down to the current members.

Ministry Strengths

The Auburn SDA Church is a church focused on sharing God’s love with the community. Because of this we have ministries that focus on outreach; community service, boy scouts, pathfinders, adventures, along with our Evangelism efforts. We also have great Sabbath School programs for young and old alike. Most importantly we are family and that is what we feel makes us special. We are a family that loves the Lord and can’t wait for Him to come in the clouds one day to take us home!

Working to make an impact in Atlanta area

The area we are focusing our talent is in our own community of Auburn. We want to get our name out to the community in many different ways. Whether it is through the boy scouts who use our church free of charge, members attending the city council meetings, or even by participating in different celebrations around Auburn during the year. We believe that the biggest impact we can have on Atlanta as we look forward to 2010 is to reach our community with the gospel. We don’t want to be the church nobody knows about but rather one that many are attending.
