Auburn Church Baptizes 7

Parents baptized with their children

May 17, 2008, will be remembered by 7 members of the Auburn SDA Church as the day they gave their lives to Jesus Christ through baptism.

The Lord blessed this day, as it was absolutely beautiful and continued to get ever better as we got inside for the worship service. The seven who accepted Christ were Nikeisha Williams, Ann Holtam, Noel Meyers, Sheldon Grant, Chris Wall, Geoffrey Medley, and Greg Medley. 

The journey was very different for these seven. Some made the decision to accept Christ in the evangelism outreach campaign Auburn had earlier this year, while some have been studying for a couple years with Pastor Gary Rusted. The day also was special because this was a family activity for the three young people. They all had one of their parents  baptized with them.

Our prayer is that we can continue to do the work of Christ and share Him with our neighbors here in Auburn. If you have not accepted Christ and would like to give your heart to Him or learn more about Seventh-day Adventists, contact us.
