AUBURN, GA—March 3-6 was a life-changing week for many at the Auburn, Ga., Seventh-day Adventist church as Jeremy Wong dynamically shared how the Holy Spirit was waiting to be released into the hearts of each member. Wong, a Theology student at Southern Adventist University, opened God’s Word and showed that the Holy Spirit is not a subject to ignored, but rather one to be embraced.

This four-day revival was to prepare the church for the upcoming evangelistic series that will begin on May 14. Each evening the attendance grew, as more and more were inspired to invite the Holy Spirit to use them. The children were so excited that each evening they would sit on the front row, without their parents prompting, listening spellbound as Wong taught. Gary Rustad, Auburn church pastor, even received a call one day from a parent wanting to know if he could pick up their son that evening, as this young man did not want to miss one night.

The Auburn Seventh-day Adventist church moves forward praying that each member be “empowered by His Spirit.” This revival changed a church! It now moves onward, excited to see how His Spirit can use the members to change their community.
