RESTART 2010

May 30 marks the second year the Duluth SDA church will host the youth-led revival series known as Restart. This summer the youth series runs with the tag-line “On Earth. For Heaven.” Restart 2010 is designed in such a way that the goal is for the Holy Spirit to help the members (specifically the youth) in the church understand what it means to be a follower of Christ. But at the same time Restart looks to help those in community find hope, for in today's world there is no greater message than one of hope.

Topics will cover the realization of hope when there appears to be none, forgiveness, trusting God in today's world, faithfulness, and the blessed hope that is Jesus Christ. The nightly meetings will include music, skits, sermons by the youth, and small-group discussions that offer attendees the chance to ask questions.

The meetings will run for two-weeks straight, starting each night (total of 14) at 7:00. Additional meetings on Saturday are possible and will be announced. In the meantime all youth are invited, specifically those who are between 14 and early college years. Based on last year's program, Restart has seated those from all ages, and despite its targeted audience welcomes all of any age.

Something to note to the SDA churches in the Atlanta area, Restart is open to the youth of other churches as well as those in the community. Currently these churches around Atlanta are holding their own evangelistic series, and as is Duluth. Restart is not looking to be competitive with these other churches, but to instead provide a second option to attendees.
